Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

Dr Amie Hanlon knew she wanted to be an obstetrician and gynaecologist from the moment she saw her first baby being born during medical school. Her interest, knowledge and experience grew and after finishing her professional training. Amie chose to join the team at Greenslopes Obstetrics and Gynaecology and has been providing personalised care and attention to her private patients here since March 2016. 

Amie studied medicine at the University of Queensland, obtaining her MBBS in 2006. She did her obstetrics and gynaecology specialty training at hospitals throughout south-east Queensland, completing a year of training in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology at the RBWH. While this area of gynaecology is a special interest for her, she retains a passion for all aspects of women’s health care, including the care of pregnancies and deliveries that inspired her journey in the first place. 

Amie enjoys the tailored care that she offers in private practice and provides that care to patients of all ages. She prides herself on her warmth, quality of care and the provision of easy-to-understand advice and information.
